The methods we use to learn the piano are appropriate for students young to old, so we say "6-106".
As long as a student is able to engage the prescribed process, participate well in a lesson and follow through at home with required practice, we can definitely find our voice at the piano.
All levels of musicianship are welcome at Studio 22. For those who have never played the piano before, this playing-based method is a natural way to begin. For experienced players, the method has a lot to offer that many students find they've missed in traditional lessons, namely accompaniment, composition and improvisation, as well as ways of approaching reading that are more wholistic.
The playing-based methods used provide very natural ways for students dealing with special circumstances to engage the piano. This way of learning is an amazing way for learners dealing with various physical, mental or emotional needs to express themselves and grow musically. For more information, please see the video "Special Circumstances" in Methods tab.
All inquiring students must first attend a Free Introductory Session prior to enrolling. At this session, you will visit the studio, meet the instructor, discuss policies and questions as well as experience a sample lesson.
